Chalcogenide glass is the glass composed of three elements sulfur, selenium,tellurium and other elements arsenic,antimony,germanium,etc (In the VI A group of the periodic table of elements excluding oxygen and polonium) ,or of their own combination, with the following excellent properties:
● Wide infrared transmittance bands and excellent transmittance, the average transmittance after coating(8μm-12μm) can reach 95% or above.
● Chalcogenide glass can be used for asphercial precision mould pressing to reduce the production cost of mass production due to the low Tg, Ts temp.
● With the low dn/dt coefficient, chalcogenide glass is the excellent material for optical design for infrared athermalization lenses that can realize no chromatic aberration and thermal defocus.
We can provide the various chalcogenide optical glass for mass production while the transmittance range covers 0.6-16μm and refractive index can reach 2.4-3.1. There are many kinds of selections
